We left Fitzroy Crossing this morning and headed towards Halls Creek. Fueled up at Halls Creek which is an interesting sort of town mainly made up of aboriginal locals but there is a few shops here etc you can look at.
We made it to Kununurra and searched for a caravan park to stay. There are a lot to choose from but most of them were booked out for powered sites...which didn't bother us, we could go unpowered so we settled into one just out of town that also provides van storage. Win win.
We spent the rest of the afternoon sorting more stuff from the van into the car and making sure we had all supplies. Made a trip to the local butcher and got meat vacuum sealed for our trip. Kununurra is very similar to Broome in that its very touristy and has most stores you need, eg Woolworths, Coles, target, camping shops etc.
Car packed to the brim with supplies and our crap, we are super excited about the Kimberley's! We turn in for an early night and quick dinner before hitting the sack.
