Today we awoke to a light sprinkling of rain that unfortunately we had to pack up in. Had a bit of trouble getting the camper down today, one of the four poles that holds the camper up keeps getting stuck so the roof ends up on a 45 degree angle! Other days we have been able to just tap the pole and it has come down....today no such luck. After about 30 mins Joel managed to get it down and we were off.
Destination - somewhere near Pinaroo which was about half way to our real destination - Loveday 4wd Park. I told Joel we should go bush for a while since we have been on the coast a lot. Now I know why we stick to the coast road!....on this 3-4 hour drive we saw flat flat dry farming land, sheep, cows, a camel, a rabbit and a few foxes, not even houses!
Made it to Pinaroo and well decided to keep gong as this really wasn't the town for us! Actually we found a few other towns further along that weren't for us either! And we then made it to Berri where we also found a great free camp on the Murray River! By this time we had been travelling for about 6 hours and were knackered so set up and went to bed early.
