Well today we woke up to the best nights sleep we have had in 45 days! Haha comfy bed in cabin! Plan was to head to Gawler where there is a caravan centre that repairs caravans as well as trades them in on other used vans.
To cut a pretty long story short, they could not fix the camper until late April if we wanted to go down that road, or they could swap us for a 12 foot Windsor caravan. After all the trouble we have had lately with the camper and the time it takes to set it up each stay, we just decided it wasn't worth keeping and having to repair it all the time, so we swapped it!
All day was spent moving crap from the camper to the new van and waiting for a very pedantic Bob to check over the van and fix everything, wash it, service it, check all bearings etc, fit it with a new plug to plug into van. We can't speak highly enough of the Gawler Caravan Centre, they just went out of their way to help us and nothing was too much trouble! We didn't leave there until 4pm!
When we pulled up to our camp spot, I said to Joel, "what am I meant to do now?" Before I had a million jobs to do when we pulled up, undo clips, unravel cord, undo bed flys, get ropes and poles out, pull beds out, clips bed up etc etc! Now it's just ready as soon as we pull up!
So we are now sitting in our new van after pulling up and spending another 4 hours re-sorting everything into what we hope to be convenient spots! Just sat down for dinner and we are knackered and are heading to bed. Please say hello to our newest member of the family - Little Shuttle (shutz for short)!
