Day 67

8 April 2013

Today we had to run a few errands before our check out time at 10am. First stop, air conditioning business that does waeco repairs. Turns out the led light panel was the cause of our problems with the fridge so purchased a new one and hopefully it will now be fine.

Next stop BCF, new fishing rod here we come. Got a few supplies and a new rod and back to the park to hook up and take off.

Another 80km down the road was our new destination at Parry Beach. Made it here with relevant ease and stopped in Denmark to wash the car.

Nice place here, good roomy spots, lots of shady trees, can have a fire, $10 a night and $5 for a wheelbarrow full of wood. Caretakers look like they may fall off their perch at any moment and we did have to wake one up for a load of wood but other than that a nice spot!

Salmon is on the bite at the moment and tomorrow we might have a crack. Old pop told us about a 4wd track that will test us so might look into that tomorrow too.

Joel spotted a little Jayco 12 foot van, similar to ours that was jacked up for offroad, old pop had a whole flight of stairs to get down from it! So Joel is looking at all the ways he can jack ours up too.

Fire on early to get some coals for the beef stew tonight. Purchased a couple of books and some homemade tomato chutney from somebody's little stall!

Joel thinks a hippy was here before us, they left us a shell nice mobile to look at! Haha

A little note to that WA has shocking mobile and Internet coverage so sometimes we don't have anything and other times we have a lot so might post 10 at a time if we have to! I'm not getting lazy with writing them, I blame the coverage! Hehe
