Today we were up early and ready for our big drive to Perth or somewhere near there!
Most of the day was spent driving and there wasn't too much to see, we skipped past Bunbury and headed north. Mandurah was a really nice seaside town! Drove through Fremantle to see if we could find somewhere to stay but it was very industrial, mining crazy workshop crap going on everywhere, very similar looking to Gladstone. Was not nice area for staying but stopped at a park and checked one out anyway...at $47 a night for nothing special we decided to try our luck and keep going!
Up the coast around Perth and we found a nice park 15 min drive from Perth and at $38 a night it was pretty cheap for around here.
We are going to have a look around Perth tomorrow and look for work, probably hang out here for a little while and see if any work opportunities come up otherwise will keep moving north.
My first impressions of this area are mixed, as we were driving into Mandurah there was rubbish everywhere on the side of the roads which doesn't seem real inviting! Then the industrial side of things is not real pretty either but we did go through some amazing areas with big mansions overlooking water so I'm not sure yet!
