Another way to get a surprise when you pull up to a spot is to leave the fridge latch undone while travelling....surprise! Your food is all over the caravan floor! Oops.
The park we are staying in is a bit weird and hard to place. They say you can only stay a maximum of 89 days and no permanents are in caravans, but when people have household fridges and pot plants in their annexe, it makes me think otherwise. They also get up and leave early in brightly coloured shirts so I have a sneaking suspicion they are working and living here. Most parks people will have a chat to you too and ask where you are from, where you are going etc but this is just like living in a normal neighbourhood where no one talks to each other.
Anyway today we were on a mission to find some solar panels to allow us to free and bush camp a bit more as our previous panels are in the Jayco we traded in! There was a cheap place in Perth selling them so we headed there. Wow if you want to go shopping, go to Perth, there is so many shops and shopping centres in every suburb, amazing how they all survive! And the maccas, in the space of about 10 mins I counted 10 maccas! Got our panels and explored a bit more around. The CBD wasn't as big as I expected it to be, sort of more like the Gold Coast or something.
My thoughts now about Perth are that I quite like it, I could live here if all my friends and family would move here too. Haha There are some really nice houses which I'm sure is in direct relation to the fact that everyone earns big $$$ here!
Have been applying for some jobs but there is really nothing around. Joel can't believe that when he was sitting in QLD there was 200 boily jobs in Perth and next to nothing in QLD, now we have driven across Australia there are 50 jobs in Perth and 170 in QLD! And I told him that by the time we get back to Qld it will probably have done the full circle again! Haha
Been slack again with photos so to keep you all interested Joel found this picture hilarious! When i ask him a dumb question he always says to me "does a bear shit in the woods?"
